TRADUCEREA – INSTRUMENT OPTIM DE TRANSFERARE A CONȚINUTULUI DE IDEI ÎN COMUNICAREA INTERCULTURALĂ

Abstract


De secole, sarcinile de traducere au constituit cea mai mare parte a tuturor exercițiilor pentru învățarea unei limbi străine, dar disciplina Traducere este una destul de tânără. În articol este abordată problema privind precizarea conceptului de traducere și utilizarea acestuia la orele de limba străină. Scopul acestui articol este de a atrage atenția asupra rolului tra­du­cerii în predarea limbilor străine și în învățarea limbilor străine. Lucrarea de față investighează efectele unor tehnici și metode asupra dezvoltării unor abilități în traducere, precum și importanța dezvoltării competenței de traducere la orele de LS, întrucât instruirea în traducere a primit puțină atenție.

 

TRANSLATION: AN OPTIMAL TOOL FOR IMPROVING INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION

For centuries, translation tasks have been the main part of all exercises used in teaching and learning a foreign language, but the discipline of Translation is quite young. The article addresses the issue of defining the concept of translation and its use in ESL classes. The purpose of this article is to draw attention to the role of translation in language teaching and language learning. This paper investigates the role of techniques and methods dedicated to the development of translation skills, as well as the importance of developing translation competences in ESL classes, as translation training has received little attention.
