În prezenta lucrare au fost analizate în plan comparativ cercetările expuse atât în publicaţii ştiinţifice, cât şi în trei proiecte din bazele de date publice: Angiosperm Phylogeny Website, versiunea 13, Parasitic Plant Connection şi Parasitic Plant Genome Project, fiind trasate anumite dependenţe corelative dintre gradul de parazitism şi tendinţele evoluţiei genomului. S-a concluzionat că numărul de cromozomi, prezenţa unor introni, deleţia unor regiuni din genomul plastidic furnizează informaţii utile în studiul mecanismelor evoluţiei genomului, apartenenţei taxonomice specifice etc.


The researches both from the scientific publications and three projects included in public databases: Angiosperm Phylogeny Website, version 13, Parasitic Plant Connection, Parasitic Plant Genome Project have been analysed and some correlation between degree of parasitism and genome evolution of Orobancheae have been highlighted. It has been concluded that number of chromosomes, presence of introns, deletion of some regions of plastid genome, provides useful information for studying of genome evolution mechanisms, specific taxonomic affiliations etc.
